Of all the national parks in the USA Yosemite had held the greatest interest for me, not least because of the stunning photographs of Ansel Adams that had changed the nature of landscape photography forever and inspired my own humble endeavors. We drove in amongst charred hills where fires had passed only weeks before, and wound our way through towering grey cliffs and pines towards Curry Village, where we made glamp for 4 days.
